ABOUT
Animasyros asked us to be their design partners for the 2023 and 16th version of the festival. We worked closely with their team for almost 10 months starting with a soft redesign of the festival's logo and identity. Most of the work was developed during the summer and just two months before the opening day.
We received the main artwork by Odd Bleat animation studio late January 2023, and we developed a visual guide for all of the applications that are needed for the festival.
This year's concept was "Ancient Greece" so we kept the black - gold color scheme for the main festival and blue - black for the agora section of the festival. We kept the line works from the artwork and used the same design principles throughout the identity.

In total more than 100 graphic applications were designed and produced for the needs and more than 50 people were involved in the production. More than 3.200 people attented the festival this year. There is a nice making off video here where you can find out more.

Firstly, we redesigned the logo and the three sub categories logos of the animasyros organisation. Education. Production and Agora. We customly designed the letters based on the older typography (Cf Liar) in order to have a geometric and rather nutral outcome as we wanted the identity to work good with any future artwork.
